You do not declare income in Colombia. 2. Regardless of whether you own property in Colombia, you earn income in the country. If so, you may have to file a tax return. It will depend on the concept and percentage of withholding tax that the payer had made. 3. You are a Colombian citizen and you are sending money to your family, you may qualify as a tax resident. In case you have to file taxes in Colombia, the rate will be 35% on the net income (income minus deductible costs).
